People consume nearly 6 times more amount of everyday sugar than what the World Health Organization recommended though few people even notice the negative effects that sugar affects human brain. Sugar is addictive just like caffeine or alcohol. Ironically, sugar and beverage giants enjoy a benign public image by their creative commercial advertisements.
