She bounces between reality and fantasy, as a night of drinking, smoking, and cake ends with dancing in a flash rainstorm that finally frees her from her pain and her failed relationship. Film statement I’m interested in describing the fragile state of a person after a breakup. When people can't control their frustration, fantasy is a way of escaping from reality. I wanted to go for the story of a woman immersed in a fantasy world. Fantasy can sometimes be relaxing; sometimes, it can make things worse. Eventually we have to go back and face real life. Anna indulges in her fantasy world. But the memories of her ex-boyfriend overwhelm her and she is unable to avoid her pain. The only thing she can do is let it go.
